It's very scary and sad that a trusted clinic would have this happen. Yes, people make mistakes, but this type of mistake is inexcusable. Unbelievable!

It's truly a frightening thing, I think. It could happen anywhere!

I read about this it is soo sad. I haven't seen any updates that say if any wrong embryos were implanted or not. I know some parents are going through gentic testing.
I live in Louisiana but don't use this clinic. For the lady that also lives in Louisiana I use The fertility institiute of New Orleans and love it!
I know they said over 100 families were going through genetic testing to see if they maybe had the wrong embryo implanted, since there are some that are just missing.

It freaked me out, but I'm glad we had switched from Ochsner to the Fertility Institute of New Orleans back in 2008. I already had issues with Ochsner- my OBGYN left their practice because he had problems with the way they ran things. So now I just feel immense relief, even though we haven't moved up to IVF yet.

Kimmee, I'm glad you were at a different clinic! I can't imagine your sense of relief.

snewman: I am glad that you posted about the fertility clinic of NO. I am with a new Oschner OB/GYN and she referred me to them, I was wondering if it's a good clinic. I am hoping that I am successful with the Clomid this cycle, but if not, then we will try the RE.

It is SO awesome to see so many girls from Louisiana. I live in Baton Rouge and I have already been through the RE experience but never and will never get as far as IVF because it is TOO expensive for something that is not guaranteed to work. Good luck girls.
