Hello Im 24 Yrs old and have not been diagnosed with PCOS, but through the discovery of a Cat Scan i had recently there was a note that stated that they saw follicles in my ovaries. Could I have PCOS? Im also irregular and have noticed that I do not ovulate regularly. Also my husband and I have been ttc for 1yr now and nothing. I get so depressed and emotional everytime I see someone pregnant. I scheduled an apt next thursday with OBGYN??? SO SO SAD!! :0(

Follicles on your ovaries?? That really isn't a dx. Can you see an Reproductive Endo that is knowlegable about pcos??

Franchesca - Irregular cycles happen due to so many reasons. First you have to find out why you have irregular cycles. Talk to your gyn, i think she will order some blood work and probably an ultra sound to see if you have cysts in the ovaries, and then may be she will refer you to a RE. PCOS has so many symptoms, and it is not necessary that every PCOS patient have all the symptoms, you can find lots of information here abt the condition , this site is very very informative and ppl are very helpful.
