I was just diagnosed with PCOS yesterday and other than the diagnosis there wasnt much information I got out of my doctor. He started me on Provera and asked me to get tested for diabetes. I was wondering if anyone else with PCOS has had strange dizzy spells. I get these randoms times, usually late at night, where I start to get a little lightheaded. Then that progresses into dizziness, the room spinning, burning up and sweating a lot, and within minutes of it starting I'm in the bathroom throwing up. It will last all night until I go to bed, and then be gone when I wake up in the morning. What could it be?
I had a couple times when my doctors were very worried about my blood pressure, it was like 147 over 110 and stuff like that. But recently it has been fine. Ive have a perfect BP for my last 3 visits. Should I mention my past numbers?

It could be any number of things - side effects from Provera (dizziness can be common for this med)... or hormonal, or hypoglycemia... I say to definitely remind your doc about the past BP readings. I even bought a home monitor to check out my BP, and even though it's not as reliable, it gives a good estimate of BP over time. Good luck!

I went to my regular doctor and she tested my BP laying down, standing up, etc. And then had me on an EKG. The BP was normal everytime and I didnt get anything back on the EKG or the blood work yet. She gave me a med to take when I get dizzy and just sent me home. Lord knows when I will hear back on anything. Usually I get a call from a random nurse that just says "everything was ok" and hangs up
