Question New to PCOS and needing some advice

I'm new to this whole PCOS thing, and I have a few questions I'm hoping some of you ladies can answer for me!

I have not yet been diagnosed with PCOS but I have an appointment with an Endo in July to make a definitive diagnosis. I had some blood work done earlier this month because I was experiencing annovulation and hadn't had a period for almost 4 months. My blood work came back with low FSH and LH levels, and my testosterone and DHEA levels were elevated. I also had ultrasounds done which returned showing "multiple cysts." The thing is, I am frequently tired or down-right exhausted for no reason. I'm 24 years old and well within the "normal" weight range. Could this be PCOS? Is there anything else that might have the same symptoms? Also, is there anything specific I should be talking to my Endo about when I go to my appointment? I'd really appreciate any suggestions/opinions on this!

Many thanks!!!

I am also new to PCOS, but from my understanding, only 50% of women who are diagnosed with PCOS are overweight. Good luck!

Symptoms range from person to person. There are people with pcos that are thin, there are some woman with Pcos that have no cysts. Just because you have cysts just not mean Pcos and vise versa. If you do not have cysts it does not mean you dont have PCOS. The bloodwork the doctor took should help your endo determine whether or not you have it. I would ask questions about your adernal gland because your DHEA was elevated. Mine was as well when i first got Dx and we had to rule out Adernal gland dysfunctions. Unfortenetly, some of the PCOS symptoms go hand in hand with other possible dx. Check out the forums, you will find many things to help you think of questions you could possibly ask your doctor.

I have PCOS and I am within the normal weight range. Weight gain/obesity is only one of many symptoms that are possible for a person with PCOS.
