Hi, I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. I have had lots of recomendations about this board and am hopeful that I will find some support here. Basically, I went off BCP in Sept. 05 to prepare to TTC later this summer. I have not had AF since then. Several trips to my OB/GYN and ultimatley a new OB/GYN finally got me diagnosed. It is a relief to at least have an answer. I was so upset about gaining 20 lbs in the first 3 months I was off BCP. I have an appointment with a RE in a few weeks. The situation is complicated because I am moving in 2 months. I don't really want to postpone my treatment, but it sucks having to switch doctors so many times. Hopefully I can get things settled so we can TTC in late summer (if its possible). I look forward to being a member of this board.
Heather

An RE is a good place to start... They should be able to get you on the right track. As long as you get a good game plan when you have to switch doctors you'll be able to tell them what you are doing and want to be doing. Just make sure when you move you get a copy of all your records to take with you.
Any questions let me know, I'll be glad to answer anything I can!
