New Regimen

I have been having pretty severe pelvic pain and breakthrough bleeding so my OB put me back on the ortho cycline.

For the next 3 months she want me to skip the placebo pills to shut my ovaries down to see if that controls the pain and bleeding.

Has anyone else tried this?

Does it help, even in the short-term?

I have heard of this type of thing before. I have a friend that had this done with her. My question for you is, were you on a different BCP? What one? And how long have you been on 500mg of Glucophage? Is your GYN going to be upping that dosage? Have you ever had the pelvic pain you are describing and if not, how long have you had it? Sorry for so many questions!

I was on the ortho cyclene for 3 months beofre being put on glucophage, and 3 months on both beofre beofre being switched to the tri-cycelene. I have been on the 500 mg glucophage for almost 6 months now. There is no plans to up the gluc dosage as of right now because my insulin leveles are fine with the 500 mg.
I have had pelvic pain like this off and on since I hit puberty but as I got older the pain was more frequent and other symptoms began happening. (Breast discharge for about 10 years, mood swing getting worse.. many more)
