I was told I had PCOS on April 21st. We have been ttc for about one year. My doctor put me on Metformin 500mg and Clomiphene 50mg. Not looking forward to taking the Clomiphene this month it made me feel sick. I am going back to the doctor on Thursday and I am so scared. I just pray that I'm ovulating. If anyone is taking the same medication, how long did it take befor you ovulated? And did the doctor keep raising yhe mg of your medication?
Sounds like you are on the same regimen my doctor had me on. I was able to get pregnant with metformin and clomid (100mg), although none of my pregnancies were viable. I took 50 mg of clomid and 1000 mg of metformin for a cycle, but nothing happened. Once my doc upped my dosage to 100 mg of clomid I started ovulating. Clomid makes me feel sick, too so I totally sympathize!
Good luck to you, I hope this round works out for you!

I know how scary it can be - I've only been diagnosed a few months myself. But keep asking questions (and going to new doctors if you aren't happy with the one you've got and can go to new ones) and arm yourself with information.
