Hi everyone, I just found out last friday that I had pcos. I was/am still really upset and Im trying to sort through of all of these facts, sypmtoms, feelings, etc. I must admit thought that there is a part of me that is relieved that I figured out what is wrong here. I am 22, so I am not trying to have any babies yet, but plan on it in the future. I was having such a hard time dealing with all the hair on my face, I felt like a guy, loss of hair from my head, acne, weight ,etc. I am so happy that I found this website! My bestfriends hasn't been much support I actually had to turn to an exboyfriend, not what I wanted to do. Well I hope to hear back from people soon. Thanks for listening/reading!

Hello, nice to hear from you.
It is so frustrating when your friends are not supportive. I tried to tell my "best friend" last night, but couldn't get a word in edgewise. She knew I had a doctor's appointment and I told her I had to go back for tests. She said nothing and started talking about she and her husband's new house and moving plans again. So I sat and listened to her complain about the "troubles" of buying your own home and having to move and pack. I wish I had those troubles.
Anyway, come here and vent if you need to. This board has given me a lot of information and help since I've found it.

I just found out yesterday that I have PCOS, I am still very upset about it also, I cried all day yesterday and am crying writing this. I talked to my sister in law, and my mom. I am only 20 years old. I also talk to my boyfriend, because we plan on being together through everything, he is very supportive of anything I have to do. I am in need of losing weight, I also loose the hair on my head, I tried a new shampoo and conditioner it helped for a while, but not any more, I also deal with all the unwanted hair, I have hair on my belly, feet, hands, and face! It is very unwelcoming when people make a point to point the hair out. But I would like to keep posting and being able to vent when needed and also let other people vent to me!
