I have suspected for a while that I had pcos, as I had quite a bit of trouble with irreg periods and difficulty getting (and at one point, keeping) pregnancies. I finally found a gyno who was willing to listen, and dx'ed me last mo. Now I am doing all the research I can, as I am ttc again! I am 32, married for 13 yrs, and I have 5 children--Kathrine (10) Christopher (9) Rachel (7) Matthew (5 very soon) and Joshua (20 mos) I hope with all my heart to have as many as God will bless me with. I am a type 3 pcos, and just started on Met and am also on Clomid. Like so many here, I had no idea so many of my oddities were as a result of pcos. I do not have a huge problem with hair, but do have irreg heavy periods, sebhorriac (sp?) dermatitis on my face, horrendous scalp issues, acne especially on shoulders and back, etc, etc. I hope to learn a lot here, and hopefully make some friends.

Welcome to the site!! This is a great place. I haven't been here to long myself, recently dx as well. I've found some really great friends and some really great articles and information all around.
