Default New Shampoo for Thinning hair

Hi ladies. I was wondering if anyone of you had tried out the new Pantene shampoo that they have out now that is for limp and thinning hair? It's called Pantene Full & Thick and I saw it advertised and found it at a local store, but I'm holding off on buying any until I get some feedback from someone who has actually tried it. It's supposed to help restore some moisture to the hair to help combat breakage and give it a little more body.

Chicken that I am, I may just go ahead and give it a try anyway. LOL But I'd still love to get your opinions if you have tried it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have tried it and cant say its worked at all..but then again I've always had a problem with Pantene products, at one point I could of sworn they made my hair fall out. As far as I can see ingrediant wise, there doesnt seem to be anything in it that would help thinning hair, just a bunch of long medical termed ingrediants.
Have you tried Nexxus, or Nioxin? I have ordered Nexxus cause I heard great things and the ingrediants look great, Nioxin I have used and it has helped alot. Hope you get the results your looking for!

Thanks Nikki. I've had some problems with Pantene in the past too (made my hair kinda dry and brittle so I darn sure don't need that. I may check with a friend of mine who is a hair stylist about getting some Nexxus from her. I've heard that mentioned quite a bit by other cysters so I think it might just be worth a shot. I'm not all that familiar with Nioxin, but I will look into that too.

NIOXIN is a fantastic product, make sure you get the scalp therapy conditioner, it feels awesome on the scalp and my hair doesn't fall out as much anymore

I also have this shampoo in my shower at this time. I think it just makes your hair "look" fuller. Alot of brands have a full & thick choice they also have normal or oily choices. I havn't noticed much of a diffrence. GL The hair loss things stinks!

Thumbs up

I just wanted you ladies to know that Nioxin is a WONDERFUL product. I always suggest it for my clients ( I am a stylist) and have seen results all of the time. Matrix also makes a shampoo & conditioner called Amplifly that is really good for thin hair, it doesn't make it thicker or grow in, it just looks fuller and thicker, smells good too! Good luck finding a product that works best for you!

Thanks ladies. My friend told me that her clients just rave about Nioxin and she's going to get me some of it. She said she has seen some dramatic results in the folks she has seen use it so she feels really comfortable recommending it to me. I'll let you know what happens once I start using it. :-)

I just went today a giant bottle of Nioxin cleanser and a 10 oz bottle of the scalp therapy. I hope that will last me a while since I got a good deal on them, i started using them again about a week and a half ago so I hope I see a difference soon..so far nothing

As Nikki mentioned, Pantene products seemed to make my hair fall out even worse!

I have had pretty good results with Nioxin. I have been using it for almost 3 years, now. While I don't see much new growth, it seems to have slowed down the hair loss quite a bit. I don't have handfuls coming out in the bath anymore, although I still see too many of my hairs on the floor when I vacuum or sweep and wash the bathroom floors.

This hair loss thing sucks...big time!

Kathryn
