Red face New to this site..

I have had PCOS for almost five years that I have know about. I have gained so much weight that it isn't even funny. I work out every other day, and this has been like forever. I still havent avoid not packing on the extra weight around the mid section. For years I have tried all the fad diets. Nothing works and I also have that preganant stomach look.. I am tired of the gut.. i want it off.. I will not go through drastic measures and get lipo or anything, but i need to do something and do it now. I have tired the low carb but i still dont lose weight. i still feel fatigue and i crave carbs like im starving.. what should i do i dont want to starve myself but i have lost more weight in the past by not eating everyday and eating every two day..?

Hello, and welcome! I know how frustrating it can be to loose weight with PCOS, but have you gone to the Doctor about your inability to loose weight and the "pregnant stomach"? The pregnant stomach is oftentimes a sign of something else, especially insulin resistance and other hormonal problems, which are very common in cysters. I had the stomach, but my Dr. diagnosed me with insulin resistance and I was put on Met. After being on the Met, starting a low GI diet, and exercising on a regular basis, my stomach is no longer popping out! So, not sure if you already have gone and talked to your Dr. about this, but it might be worth a shot!

P.S. only eating every other day is not good for you, your body needs fuel to increase your metabolism and burn fat! As Eva pointed out, I have found the diet/exercise thread to be a great source of information!
