I just joined today and wanted to say hi!
I am CreativeChic 29 year old woman who was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 16 after not having a period for a year. I have had my ups and downs with my period and weight. I was doing rather well period wise (28 day cycles for almost a year) until a couple of months ago, I am still on cycle, especially after starting the pill last month, but my periods have changed. Anywho. It is nice to have found a community like this.
Having PCOS is not easy. As women with PCOS we face many issues, hirituism, irregular cycles, infertility, insulin resistance. Some of us face more or less issues than others but we all still have the common "bond" of PCOS. It is wonderful that there is a place on the www where we can speak out, recieve and offer moral support and discuss things. Thank you to whomever founded this site. I look forward to posting on here quite a bit.
Meds: Taken off Met!!Doc. wants to see my levels off to make sure I even need it(WooHOO).Put on Spironolactone.Taken off NuvaRing until ready to TTC.

I am also new to the site, just joined tonight. I am so glad to have this as a resource. It has been a VERY long and hard road. I am looking to make some life changes, and live a healthier longer happier life and I gotta start somewhere. I need to get this under control, and quit ignoring it...which is what i did for so long. I am so glad that i have "cysters" to lean on when things are rocky and that actually UNDERSTAND what im dealing with. Thanks for the support!
Welcome! Nice to see someone my same age on here...well, not NICE....but....well, you know! I am pretty new myself, but am amazed at the support I have found on here. You can ask any question, and these awesome women will give you the best advice! They understand like no one else! So now I am curious about your story. Do you have any children? Are you married? Sorry...I am at work and bored. Anyhow, welcome!
