hello everyone.. I'll try to be short,

I am 35 and hubby 39. I really don't know how long I have had PCOS. I do know when trying for #1 child I was off the pill in Nov. 93 and ended up PG in April 94.. no menses in between. I started #2 in 96 and no menses for 6 months and went to the doctor and got nothing. 1 year later finally was referred to another doctor. I found out I had Hypothyroidism. I started meds and things started happening a little... but this time I went straight to a fertitilty doctor. He said I had PCOS.. didn't really know what that meant, but hope this doctor could help. Success with clomid in 2001. Then in 2004, I found out I was pg on my own (again menses was 3+ more apart), but pg didn't survive. Went to a Fertility Doctor and he told me again, it was because I had PCOS. So, I did Gonal-F.. took 3 times and finally pg. My husband and I would like another, but I need to really find info on PCOS. Every since I weaned my DD, my menses have been every 5 to 6 weeks... first time in life, but also I break out with acne bad on my lower back 1 week before I start. I'm military, so just going to a OB doc isn't an option. I have talked with my PCM about everything and of course I get the same thing. Once I am pg, he can see about referring me out. This is what happened to me in 2004. So, do I want to see if I could get pg on my own or keep seeing my PCM to where he gets mad enough to send me to a fertility doctor???
