Hello everyone! I am Brandi from KY and I 26 (Well in a week... so close enough). I found out Monday that I have PCOS. I have been to doctors before and they say what was wrong. I got a new OB/GYN and he finally dx me with it. I just had my blood test yesterdays. They took like 7 tubes of blood!! I have an ultrasound scheduled for next week. I got Rx Prometrium to stop the bleeding. I have been "going" for 3 months straight but before that I didnt have a period for 7 months I think... it so hard to keep track of all it. What made me realize I was going for so long was I went to a concert where I got to Jason Aldean back in Feb and just a few weeks ago I met him again. I remembered thinking... I was on my period last time. So that is what made me make the appt. I am really scared. I got on one website that had obituaries of women that died from the complication caused by this that were my age!! I couldnt believe it. I never even heard of this until Monday!

Hi, I'm new to PCOS and the forum too. I'm still learning but this site is wonderful for learning more about PCOS. I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago and was scared and sad for a few days too. Learn as much as you can and know that we are here for you.
