Default New to Soul Cysters....

Hi to all,

My name is Susy and I was diagnosed with PCOs in 2006 which was a relief as I was beginning to look like the Honey Monster! It wasnt until I had the discussion with the dr that I realised the issues that it raised with becoming pregant and I was gutted. I took Metformin for about a year with no visable results and stopped when I split with my partner and bizzarley it was only after that that I started to loose weight, from a size 14 to a size 8 in about a year!......Anyway I have been with my new partner for nearly 2 years and my biological clock is ticking, I am now 32 and I am desperate for a baby, my partner on the other hand says he doesnt but gives every indication that he does really, i.e. discussing raising children, names, what football team they would support, and is fantastic with kids-like me they love him! Well I started taking Metformin again-I think about 6 months ago, my periods were irregular but I could always 'sense' that they were coming, sore breasts, etc and then quite a heavy flow but the last 2 months although they have been regular I have had no indication that I was due on and they have been really light, lasting only a few days-I wondered if anyone else has experienced this? Its freaking me out slightly as I didnt experience this the 1st time round and I do not seem to have any of the other benifits linked to taking metformin as I am putting weight on (I am not being very active as have lost my job) and I still look like the Honey Monster!

The Honey Monster is a great big hairy creature that is used to advertise a breakfast cereal called Sugar Puffs-only difference is that he's blond and i have dark brown hair!
