Hi Everyone!
I am so glad I found this site, it has been amazing to hear that there are so many women out there that have the same issues as me, but also different.
I was diagnosed late 2006 after I had stopped taking BCP for the 1st time in almost 10 years. Apparently, I had PCOS the entire time, but did not notice any symptoms since I had gone on BCP at the age of 16. It is great to hear that younger girls are being diagnosed early, there is so much to learn about the female body, might as well start young. I wish I would have known this back then, I may have made some personal decisions differently...
Now after almost 2 years of being diagnosed I am starting to have much more symptoms of PCOS even with being on BCP again. I have been back and forth with my OBGYN for the last 2 months about what to do at this point and I am so glad I have this site to refer to for my questions and PCOS knowledge.
In the next few months DH and I will be taking the long road to TTC, I am just hoping that it's not that long.
Thanks for listening!
