 New to Soulcysters
Hi Everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS with an elevated insulin level. I have an appointment with a RE in a couple weeks and my OB/GYN feels they will probably start me on Clomid and Metformin. I have underwent all the Labs and procedures such as a HSG and my hubby also had a SA done , all which came back fine with the exception of my insulin level and the cysts on my ovaries. I am somewhat nervous as to seeing what the RE has to say but at the same time a bit relieved to finally get some help. I've been TTC for about a year and 3 months. I understand that having PCOS can cause women to not ovulate or only ovulate a few times a year. I have been taking Ovulation tests and according to the tests I have been ovulating every month, so I am eager to see what the RE has to say.
