Default New to soulcysters but not to pcos.....kind of

Ok, I was diagnosed with PCOS originally in 2007. I was put on metformin and it made me very sick. Dr took me off and never did anything else. This was my general doc too. Never got ultrasound to check. That brings us to the present. I went in last week and did the fun fasting blood work with a 2 hour glucose test and had my ultrasounds. I got the word today that my PCOS is confirmed and i need to go and see an endocrinologist. My question is: what can I expect from seeing an endocrinologist? I have never seen one before.
