Hey everyone, first let me introduce myself.

My name is Rachael, I'm 20 years old, I'm from England, and i got diagnosed with PCOS 2 months ago, although i have personally known I've had it since i was 14 but I had troubles with my then Dr who refused to test me for it and claimed he knew best.

I was put on 500mg of Metformin twice a day and Dianette once a day.

I have to go back to the hospital in September for scans on my ovaries to see what they're like and what my fertility state is, although me and my now ex did try for almost a year and i couldnt get pregnant.

i also got diagnosed with a form of arthritis in my lower back a few weeks ago, it's basically my lower spine is compacting onto itself and it hurts me alot so i have to stretch it out, but its not bad enough for surgery...yet lol.

ok so, my troubles with the site are, on Saturday night i attempted to register to the site with the username AnasAngel and my usual email address (which i triple checked to make sure i had spelt right), and i didnt recieve the activation email, so i contacted this site last night (sunday) to see if i could have one sent out or something to resolve it because i would like to use the site, and tonight i've basically just given up on that one lol, and i made this account using my Gmail. :-)

another thing with this account is the fact that i cant seem to acess my Control Panel things. I click ''User CP'' and it takes me to that page, but when i try to edit my avatar or my information it tells me im not allowed to because im restricted.

any help would be muchly appreciated, and i look forward to becoming an active member of the site. :-)

welcome to sc ive been on met for years, and find that as long as i avoid greasy/fatty/sugar foods as much as poss and always eat with the met i am ok with it. here is a link to the metformin section for you

you're only 20, so good news is you have lots of healthy reproductive years ahead of you. The back thing sucks suck though!
