New to SoulCysters, not new to PCOS HI!
My name is Becky and I am the mother of 2 wonderful children- Jacob and Leah. I was diagnosed in 2004 with PCOS/insulin resistance, after having gone thru a miscarriage in 2002 and having irregular periods while trying to conceive for 2 yrs. Now i have 2 children and i am done with that part of my life, BUT I am now wanting to lose weight... I am actually 50 lbs lighter then i was when i conceived my kids (i always lost lots of weight during pregnancy) and have maintained my weight for the last 2 yrs but i'd really like to get some of this weight off that i've been living with for over a decade plus i have a great DH who's given me some great motivation with gifts when i hit certain goals.. SO I NEED YOUR HELP!
What is the best way for a PCOS mom who is still breastfeeding to lose weight??? low calories, high carbs, exercise, high protein??? i am clueless as to how my body works..
All i know is i have the basic symptoms: weight gain, excess hair, no energy, and others that go along with pcos...
Thanks for any help! Becky
