Hi all,
I just started on Spironoactone 50mg BID last week. My boobs have been tender since day 1. That's ok with me as long as it gets rid of my acne!

This may be subjective and untrue, but I FEEL like I am less irritable, less punchy and aggressive and more laid back and chilled out since starting Spiro. Also, I have been in a great mood too, which for me is amazing. This would make sense if Spiro lowers testosterone levels that quickly, which I doubt. I have a blood test after 4 weeks to check androgens and lytes.

I am excited to see what this med will do for me.

I have been taking spiro for about a year and a half. I have really been happy with it. It cleared up my skin and lessened my excess hair. I also noticed that I was less irratable and in a better mood after I started taking it, but I contributed it to the BCP that I started taking at the same time. I also would expect that your boob tenderness gets better.
