Question new and starting clomid soon I HOPE

Hi

it seems as though i have one polycystic ovary... the left ovary looks like a polker dot dress, the right is dorment.

so the doc put me on provera to get rid of a 4cm cyst that i had on my left ovary, i went for my check up today (took the last pill yesterday) and he said that the cyst has shrunk well 2cm and i can now start clomid if and when i get af.

why would he say IF i get af?

he said if i dont have it in 6 wks i should come back and he will have to sort something out...???... i thought after provera your af starts?

when did yours start???

also when do you take your clomid... are there anythings i should know, advice

i know the medical stuff about clomid but i want to know personal things that your doc didnt tell you to watch for.

also, will it take 6 wks to get af after the provera!!!?? my word!

Provera should induce AF within 10 days of the last pill according to my dr. In my case, on the 2 occasions that I took Provera, AF came 2 days later the first time and a day later the 2nd time.

I have only taken Clomid once (this cycle) and did 50g CD5 - 9. I got the idea to take it at night but its important to take it at the same time for the 5 days. I have almost no side effects. Dont know if it was because I took it a night or just because

Check the "infertility and trying to conceive section and there are more than a few threads on Clomid as well as the Misc medications sections

anyway, good luck with it
