Question new thin cyster

hi ya all,
I was diagnosed with pco by ultrasound in april this year after a year of irregular periods following a m/c since which me and my hubby have been ttc. I dont know my blood results are. Due to see fertility consultant next week. Was just wondering will the exercise and low gi diet help us thin cysters to return cycles too? Would really appreciate it if you could share your experiences or knowledge
Thanks

Hey there...

I am no expert. However, my husband is a Urologist and deals with female incontenence, sexual disfunction, etc... I have a low BMI and he said that excersize would possibly cause me to loose weight and then my hypothalamus would shut off... that would stop me from ovulating all together? Like I said I don't really know and it is such a gray area with the "thin cyster" situation... I would keep your BMI in consideration and possibly just eat healthy... loosing weight might just make it worse.

Good luck... sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

Did you see this: Pcos Treatment - Non-obese Women

Also, be sure to ask your doctor to tell detail for you why you were diagnosed with pcos. Typically, 'ultrasound' is not enough.

But you should know so that you can clearly talk to any other doctor about it.

Here is some information that will help you with the diagnostic process, and lab info: QUICK LINKS: Getting a PCOS Diagnosis & Understanding Lab Results
