Default New TSH Reference Range

In a January 2003 press release, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists recommend that doctors should consider for treatment anyone with a TSH ouside of 0.3 to 3.04.

Thanks for posting that! I'm glad to see that they are changing the levels since, from what I understand, it is easy to go unchecked (I did and was given Paxil for my 'symptoms' when I never needed that!). An interesting article.

My last TSH test was 3.96 - not outside the old range, but definitely outside the new range.

I will print this and hand it to my doctor.
