First, Congrats amber! she is so beautiful! i can't believe she is already here!! how wonderful! the next 18 years will fly by! breathe in every minute! she is beautiful!
Carrie, how are things going? how is your shoulder? i hope you are great. where are you in your cycle? i guess i am on cd 19 according to my ticker.. but i am trying hard not to chart or anything (still doing opks, but that is it.)
Mere, what a beautiful little boy! sounds like things are pretty hectic? i hope you are doing great with your little boy!
Beth, how fun a race! that sounds great! has it already passed, if yes, how did it go? Where are you in your cycle too? how are things going this cycle??
Well, dr wanted me to not ttc for 2 months, but i can't. i wouldn't have even known i was pg if i had waited two days to test, so i would still be trying this month. so we are just taking it easy. dr also doesn't want me to chart anymore... ever.. ugh... i was frustrated because of a couple of things he said... first, "this happens to a lot of women"... i am not a lot of women and don't want to be compaired to them while i am sitting there in tears... and also "you need to have sex days 14-18 to get pregnant..." evidentally, he didn't look at my charts too closely... ugh..
ok, i am on the phone with some guy about my internet! i will talk to you girls later!
Sorry i have been mia... i will have internet at my house from now on...

Mere, how are things going for you and Braden? are you still with your boyfriend, at one point in time, I thought you said you might be moving away from eachother?
Beth, what's new for you? Trying any new therapies?
Amber, I'm hunting the boards looking for pictures of Seanna. she is so cute. How are you healing from the c/s?
Anna, I'm stalking your chart. Your doctor sounds like a dick, no offense. My doctor was awesome when I had both of my m/c, actually it's the only reason I still see him because he doesn't know a lot about PCOS. As for charting, I don't think you would have gotten pregnant if you hadn't been doing it, so I don't agree with him at all. I see that you did ovulate again, I'm praying for a sticky for you.
As for me, I'll be trying OPKs for my next cycles so we'll see how it goes. DH is starting to take some vitamins which makes me feel awesome. We went to an adoption seminar and learned so much. In the end, we have decided to try infertility treatments first, but we'll be waiting until next year. Until then, i'll be working on my diet, heaven knows I need it.
Chat with you ladies later.
Carrie

I would have been frustrated too at the comments the doc said. Like you don't know! Good luck on this cycle!
Carrie...I am glad you got to go to the adoption seminar so now you know more about it if you decide to take that road. Good luck with the change in diet. I am sure it will make you feel better for the summer. Pics? I got pics! lol
Sorry they are so big!

Anna, G/L - hopefully you can catch the eggie!!
Carrie, I see you have an IVF countdown ticker - Mike and I did decide we are also gonna try IVF before moving to adoption. I did some searching and there are 2 clinics in the Atl area that have shared risk options, and that is appealing to us...I hope neither of us has to get to that point. Let us know how the OPKs treat you.
As for me, so sorry I have been MIA - last week was nutty b/c Mike's sister and one of our neices were down from Seattle and these summer classes are succeeding at kicking my booty!!! Anyway, we are doing our 3rd IUI - tomorrow a.m., actually!!! I had 3 good follies on Sunday at my cd12 u/s. One 25mm, a 16mm, and a 15mm - all on my Left O - my right O is a total dud!!! It really needs to get in the game already. So needless to say, I triggered last night and we are going in at 7:30 tomorrow. I was a little surprised to have such a big follie on cd12 - I haven't had one that big in the past (that I recall anyway), so I am excited. We bd'd on Saturday afternoon just cause, and then when the dr told me to trigger on Sunday night, I was shocked. I hope we will be ok and manage to catch an egg already!!! - DH is paranoid about not having 'enuff' swimmers, so we haven't Bd'd since Saturday. The dr also shocked me a little b/c she was like, 'well, I feel the need to give the multiples disclaimer and let you know that we do have selective reduction as an option if you and your husband just wanted a singleton.' I know she was just following protocol, but I don't think they've gone there w/me before and I was kinda excited at the thought that she seemed to think things looked favorable. I would love twins - then, should we not be able to achieve another pregancy, we would still have two children. Oh, well, I can't get too excited yet, huh? We are praying for one, and hope that the 3rd time will be the charm. Please pray for our miracle!!!!!

Amber, you look so good and your daughter is beautiful. I know that you are busy so thank you for taking the time to post pictures.
Anna, good luck with this cycle. Hopefully, it all comes together for you. My doctor said your first three cycles after a loss are your most fertile.
Beth, so you are 3 days in on your two week wait. I'm really hoping this is it so that you also don't have to move on to IVF. I feel the same way you do, hope I get twins. Baby dust to you girl.
Mere, how are things going for you?
As for me, I'm on cd 12 and I didn't have a positive OPK yet. It's getting darker though so I'm hoping tomorrow is it. I feel really good about this cycle, even if I don't get pg, I think I'll be ok. Last year my cycle started on June 13th and I got pg for the first time, I'm hoping I have even better luck this June. i'm going on vacation tomorrow with my family, it will be so nice to just relax and be with them.
Good luck ladies and chat with you soon.
Carrie

My Mood: Points: 22,903.95 Bank: 43,391.19 Total Points: 66,295.14 | hello ladies,
How is everyone doing?
Mere, any updates?
Beth, how is this cycle going? Did you trigger and do the IUI already? Any fun symptoms to obsess over?
Amber, hello more baby pictures needed. I read your post about her 1 month bday being sort of bittersweet for you. I hope overall you're feeling really well. Are you returning to work?
Anna, I was checking out your chart. I think with having a m/c the spotting you had is not unusual. I had a chemical pregnancy with my first and bleed/ spotted for two months with only a 2 week reprieve. I'm glad you're going to a new doctor. You need to have someone who respects you and how you want to handle ttc. Other than your frustrations, are you making it okay?
For me, got back from vacation on Friday, it was so relaxing and I had a positive OPK. It was getting a little frustrating because I had so many negatives first but then one turned and so fast, I was really excited. I used preseed for five days this cycle so that was different. We'll see how it goes. I returned to work today after having off for six weeks, it was pretty stressful. Anyone have any tips for reducing stress? My shoulder hurts but I am getting more movement so hopefully the pain stops soon, I don't want to take any painkillers, you know, just in case.
I hope you ladies are making it through.
Carrie

My Mood: Points: 9,523.22 Bank: 89,907.90 Total Points: 99,431.12 | Carrie...Thanks. I am feeling really good. Almost back to normal. I won't be returning to work until at least January. I want to spend every second I can with this little miracle! I am glad you had a restful vacation and a + OPK! Stress reducers: My advice is to walk, workout, read a book, take some time every day for yourself (maybe even the exact same time) and have some tea or do something for yourself (Only needs to be 10-15 min but more is always better). Stress sucks and can really mess with your system. I hope you find something that works. Looks like you are soon to be in the 2ww with Beth!
Anna...Sorry to hear about AF. I am glad you found a new doctor. It's always good to have another view from someone new. I hope this doc works well with you. I hope you had a great vacation with lots of relaxing. Happy 4 year anniversary.
Beth...Happy 5 year anniversary and congrats on the great follies! I am really praying this is your cycle! ***Baby Dust*** When is your test date? I think it's soon!
It's funny because we just had our 3 year anniversary! Not much new here. Seanna is 4 weeks today. She is doing really well.
Any plans for the 4th? We had some people over this weekend and I think we will do the same on Friday because we have so much left over snacks and beer!
Have a great week everyone!
~Amber

My Mood: Points: 5,831.69 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 5,831.69 | Hey everyone, I tested last night - BFN....I have an appt to consult w/a different dr at Emory on the 10th. IVF is likely to be our next step as far as tx goes. I was a little upset last night, but I actually thought for a little while that I may be able to avoid the whole crying thing, but alas, I was wrong. It wasn't too bad though. I am getting used to the failure. Although I am crying now as I type this. If the new dr recommends trying another IUI w/different meds, we may be up for it - DH and I will have to make a decision, but if he thinks we should move on to IVF, we will be done w/Emory. I think we are going to go to one of the two clinics in Atl that offers shared risk - even if we end up not doing shared risk. We'll have to see what they think I guess. But I've already stopped crying again, so that's good.
Amber, I am so happy for you that you can stay home for so long - that is such an unbelievable blessing - you will never regret it. My SIL is home w/my neice all through the week and only works every other weekend and I think it has been so great for them. She does so much w/her and I can tell it is paying off, my neice loves books - I mean she's a bookaholic and her language skills are awesome. So as a speech pathologist, I am a big advocate of reading to your child. It's never to early to start. Ok, enough of my PSA! :-)
Carrie, G/L, I hope this will be your cycle. I am glad your shoulder is doinge ok - I know how you feel about the pain meds. I like to relax by walking, running, and reading. I am not a big fan of baths, but those are great too for some people. I think some time alone is great and what you do w/it is a personal preference.
Anna, sorry about AF - I will be right there w/you soon. If I O on my own this month, our 2ww's won't be too far off from each other. Well, that depends on when my AF shows I guess. We'll see. And I hope all goes well w/the new Dr...is it an RE? When is your appt?
Take care everyone!!!!
