Beth- Sorry about the BFN!

Carrie- How are you feeling? "If you get a sperm donor, will you have to do shots and IUI?" Probably, I haven't checked into it very much, since I will be switching, jobs and insurance in a few months. Once I do, then I will research what my options are.

As for me, I POAS on tue and thurs, but got BFN. I was hoping to find out something before I left on Sunday to get my son. It may have been too early, and I think the symptoms are in my head anyways. I will wait to see if AF comes next week, if not I will POAS again. But there is no sure way to know if this upcoming cycle will be 'normal' or not, and come on time. Only time will tell.

Hi Ladies,

Anna, I've been checking out your chart. Did you move the ovulation day or did fertility friend? I could have sworn that yesterday when I looked at it, it said that you were 11 dpo. Anyway, I'm checking up on you. If you continue to spot and it isn't implantation spotting, you may want to get tested for a luteal phase defect. That is when your progesterone drops prematurely. I've been told teh crazy pills, oops I mean clomid can actually fix that. Just a thought, 9 dpo can be a good time to be spotting.

Mere, okay less than five days and your bring your gorgeous baby home. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a BFP between now and then.

beth, how are things going for you? Have you started all of the stuff for another IUI cycle?

Amber, how's everything going with you and the baby. Did you find out for sure if it was a girl or was that a mistake that they made?

Carrie

Hi Girls,

I will do personals later. Just wanted to give you a quick update.

My grandma went into the hospital on Friday. She had a big stroke and wasn't great before that. I went home to say my goodbyes on Sunday and visited her everyday. She lost her speech and ability to swallow so she was on a glucose IV. On Tuesday the doc talked to her daughters(1 being my mom) and said that she won't recover this time and she thinks that the IV should be removed, then we should all say our goodbyes and she would need to be put on Morphine in a couple days and she would basically be in a coma. Well they took the IV out and ever since she has been getting better and more alert. So it's been like 6 days with no food or fluid and she keeps getting better. She has regained her swallowing just a little but not enough for food. And she has refused a feeding tube. This was so hard to watch because she is basically starving to death but getting better. My aunts don't want to put her on the IV again because she will have to go through this all again since you can only have it for 3 weeks. It's so hard to see my grandma trying to say something and we can't understand. But talking to her and her smiling and moving around is so hard to watch since I know she will be gone soon. We hoped this would happen overnight. She is having another test today and then we will see if she will go back on the IV. We are really close so this is extremely hard on me. What a horrible roller coaster. This has literary been the worse week of my life. I came back here Sunday and I am really sick now. Bad cold and all. I can't take anything so I am just trying to wait it out. Anyway, that is the story in a nut shell. We will see what tonight's phone call brings. I'm praying that she either goes quickly or they put her back on the IV.

Everything with the pregnancy is going well. I am really trying not to get stressed but it is hard. Baby is moving everyday which always brings a smile to my face. I'm really starting to show now. Enough that people are actually noticing!

Hope everyone is doing well.

~Amber

Hey Anna,

I saw your chart and the temps looked great and you're right tomorrow's temp will tell you more, but the next day will really say. You normally drop on day 13. Are you spotting a lot or a little? Have you thought about doing progesterone cream after you ovulate, it might decrease your spotting. I really hope all of your temps stay up. Do you feel like you will be getting your period?

Carrie, i don't feel like i am getting my period. and i am only spotting enough to tinge my cm... hasn't even made it to the pantyliner... i am not going to go into all the other details (unless i get my BFP on Thursday.. then i will go into details...) but today, i have felt the EXACT SAME WAY that i used to feel when on BCPs. I am ready for Thursday to get here so i can see my temp and test! (BFN yesterday...)

UGH!!! the waiting!

Anna,

I saw your chart. How long will you wait before seeing a doctor? I'm sorry too. I still think it's amazing how well your body works. I ovulated every other to every third month. Now you just need to catch that egg.

Buddy...Congrats on your BFP! That is so exciting!

Mere...Congrats on the beautiful baby boy! Sounds like you and DB have been through a lot. I hope everything works out in the end.

Beth...Sorry about the BFN. That makes me so mad. I really want you to get that BFP!! I am throwing all my baby dust over you!

Anna...Sorry about the temp drop. Your chart looked perfect! I am so happy you are Oing on your own. Now let's see that BFP!

Carrie...9 weeks! I am so happy for you. How are you feeling? I know it will be awhile but are you going to find out the sex? Thanks for posting on the expecting thread for me. I'm not too chatty yet and still have a lot on my mind.

Thanks everyone so much for your thoughts and prayers for my grandma. She was hooked back up to a glucose IV a couple days ago. Still no food so she is still dying but at least now she is more comfortable. She is a fighter and surprises everyone so we shall see.

I love the 2nd trimester. I feel great and now I am starting to show. I looked in the mirror yesterday and was like OMG, I am getting huge. Not huge but where did that belly come from? I am still having a hard time believing I am pregnant. I do feel the little one moving around a lot which is so amazing! We decided not to find out the sex for sure. We don't know 100% so there is still some surprise.

I hope everyone is doing well. I will have to post a pic soon. Have a good night!

~Amber

Amber i am glad that the 2tri is going so well for you! i can't wait to see pics! i can't wait to feel that baby in me! how is your gm today? i am praying for her and your family. (((Amber)))

Carrie, you asked when i would see a dr. my yearly exam is in June. if i am not pg by then, i am going to go see him then. he is already having my keep a "bleed chart" so i will bring up the spotting then too... my spotting was different this month... it only made it to the pantyliner two days. Anna, you can still post and just skip the charting. I really missed you the last time you left and was really glad when you came back. Even if you don't post, you know you'll be lurking. I'll still be praying for your BFP and for your FIL.

Mere, how's the baby?

beth, how are you doing? Are you doing the IUI?

Amber, I'm glad your grandma is fighting. Do you think it's possible that she'll make it. I'm glad your baby is dong well and moving so much for you. you're amazing for not finding out the gender. my DH didn't want to find out but I told him it may be my one and only child and if I want ot find out I will. I was going to give in to what he wants though, but he said it would be okay if I wanted to know. So 11 more weeks until I have the big U/S.

I feel pretty good. I'm still tired sometimes, but I haven't had any real bad morning sickness or anything. My boobs are very tender and getting bigger, which I am very excited about as I am not very blessed in the boob department. I've only gained two pounds so that's a good thing.

Anyway ladies, toodles for now,

Carrie

You know i will lurk... and i will probably post every now and then too... We started this post together... and i am so glad you have finally gotten your BFP... i want to be here through it... so i will be in and out every now and then. i will probably try and limit it to the weekends though... or something like that. I did order some OPKs. we will see what happens with those. i have never really had much luck. but i have been o'ing pretty regularly, so maybe i will be able to catch my surge. and after what happened this month (we missed it because of those dang CHs moving...) i want something kinda guiding... but i don't know if i will def use them or not? we will see..

anyway, i will be in and out! (i missed you when i was gone too!)
