| I won't be on this week at all because I am flying to MN. My Grandma passed away yesterday and the services are on Wednesday. It is still pretty hard even though I knew it was going to happen and she is now in a better place, able to be comfortable. I will check in next week when I get back. I will be thinking about all of you.

Anna, sounds like this has been a very tough week. Why might you lose your job? Is Bryan's dad responding well to his treatments. Honestly, it hasn't been that great of week for grandma's has it? Do they think she has a good chance of improving?
Take care ladies and I'll be praying that you both have strength to survive.
Carrie

| Two Down, One To Go... Well, I POAS this morning...BFN. So now we begin our 3rd (and last I think) IUI cycle. Not too sure if we will take a few months off before deciding to go on to IVF or not. We had said we weren't going to do that, but now I'm not so sure - just never really thought it would actually come down to that - oh, well!! Time will tell. I have not been on the boards really this week b/c I was trying not to obsess too much before POAS.
Carrie, how are you doing?
Amber, I am very sorry to hear about your grandma - I know that must be very difficult, but all you can really do is find peace in the fact that she is no longer suffering in any way, which I know you are doing. Let us know when you get back.
Anna, where are you in your 2ww? What is going on w/your job? Are you trying to sell your house? What is your FIL's prognosis like?
Mere, how are you and Braden doing?

My Mood: | Beth, I'm sorry it didn't take. Will you eventually move on to IVF or adoption?
Take care Beth.

| Hey all, just a quick update...we can't do any meds this cycle b/c I have a cyst...so we are going it alone this time and probably next month too b/c of our trip to Mexico - just depends on the timing of everything.
How is everyone?!!!

| Hi Girls,
Sorry I have been gone so long. It has been a crazy month and it is just starting to settle down. Also, sorry for the x-post, I just want to get it all out once, lol.
So my grandma passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16th. I flew home on Tuesday to attend her funeral on Wednesday. Wow, was that hard. I don’t know if it was because of the pregnancy hormones or I am just very emotional but I just couldn’t stop crying. We were really close so knowing she will never meet my child is heart wrenching. I do know that the baby has the best guardian angel ever. Unfortunately, it was like -5 degrees there so the cemetery part was very quick. I did get to see lots of family and my friends came too.
I was originally going to go to MN the first week of March and have 2 baby showers. Since I had to change my trip my mom had some of the relatives meet us for dinner and we did a small baby shower there. Then my friends threw one for me on Saturday. They really went all out and made me feel so great. They had decorations, games, lots of food and presents. I know that all seems standard but they just threw it together within a couple days and it turned out so nice. So that was a great ending to a very sad week.
My parents bought us a travel system that we set up last night. I know it is early but I wanted to make sure nothing was broken. I love it!
Other than that I am back to work and still have so much to do at home. Life is getting back to normal so that is comforting.
I hope everyone is doing well and I will stop back for personals in the next couple days. I missed you all!
~Amber

| Hi There
Is it ok if I join your thread? I just registered today. I have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months and recently figured out I have PCOS. I have numerous symptoms, my doctor insisted I wasn't PCOS because I am not overweight but the fertility doctor I have just started seeing is doing more bloodwork to confirm. My LH is always high....
I won't be able to see this specialist again until late April but am trying to learn as much as I can between now and then.....I am soaking up all of your insights like a sponge.
I wish you all the best of outcomes with your attempts for a baby...
I have felt so much uncertainty and stress over the past few months and hope that now that I am figuring things out, it will become easier.
Thanks
Laura |
