Hello Ladies!

Sorry I have been gone so long. Adjusting to being a Mom to my Son has been wonderful, yet challenging at times. I go back to work full-time in two weeks and am just now getting back into some of my old routines.

Today is CD1 for me I hope, started spotting tonight. This last cycle was 76 days long. I spotted once in Feb for a day and that was it. I am not sure if it was because I took Soy in Jan or not. Because before that I have had 5 months of 28-30 days periods. So if it is AF this week then I will try Soy again and see what happens. Glad to be back!

Hey Anna,

We can be cycle buddies, I'm one day ahead of you. Too bad you'll beat me to ovulation, if I'm even lucky enough to ovulate.

Mere, glad to hear from you.

I'll chat more later.

Carrie

Hi There
I am starting to freak myself out the more I read about PCOS. I am worried that since my periods have stopped I am going to start developing a bunch of other crazy symptoms too. Visions of being bald and overweight by summer......I am not sure what to do to take care of my health. I bought a book yesterday and the approach just discusses how diet, exercise and weight control will alleviate symptoms.

Is soy supposed to help with restoring ovulation? Is it just soy beans in pill form that you take? Any info would be appreciated.

Laura

Laura...Sorry about AF. Good luck this cycle!! I hope you had a great time when you were away.

Mere...Your little boy is so precious! I'm sure having a little one is a lot to get used to. Good Luck this cycle.

Carrie...Hi! Good luck this cycle too! That would be great to see 3-4 BFP's this time around!

Laura...Try not to stress out too much about PCOS. There is a lot of reading to do which is helpful. Soy is used to bring on ovulation. You take it like clomid days 3-7 or 5-9. There are soy pills at Target, Walmart, etc... On the bottle it will sometimes mention it is for menopause. Let me know if you try it.

Mere, Braden is adorable, I know you are having such a great time with him! Congrats again!!! G/L with everything you may try in the upcoming months~

Amber, glad you are doing well...are you getting excited about getting ready for the baby?

Carrie, G/L this cycle - hopefully you will O and catch the egg!!!

Anna, sorry about AF, I am glad you are looking ahead and staying positive - that is so important. G/L!!!

Laura, try not to freak yourself out too much about all of this...research is great, I have definately done my fair share, but I have also driven myself a little nuts with all of it too! I think part of my issue now is that I have this whole mental block thing going on - like I am so hopeless about it, it's a self-fulfilling prophesy b/c I don't think it's ever going to happen, ya know? Well, my point is, don't get too panicked about things b/c that is not good at all.

Well, as for me, I honestly don't know what cd I'm even on!!! Isn't that great! I feel so relaxed this month, and I am really looking forward to going to Ixtapa in 3 weeks!!! Hurry up Spring Break~ I think I may have O'd mid-end of last week, but I don't know for sure b/c I'm not being monitored, using meds, or my CBEFM, just takin it easy! I am waiting to see if AF shows, and if I haven't had any sign of her before our Mexico trip, I'll POAS to see what's up. We will probably not be doing another round of IUI till May - but we'll see what happens!! Well, Happy Tuesday!

Hi There Ladies
Any news with anyone? I had a "normal" period this month - 5-6 days long, normal flow. I can't believe this is exciting for me......anyway, hope that it isn't a "one-off" and that my periods are coming back. I start accupuncture next Monday so maybe that will help as well. I will try anything at this point.

Hi ladies.. you aren't going to believe this... DH wants to stop TTC... we talked about it... and agreed... we are going to wait for about 4 months, and then start "trying" again... i don't know if he means he wants to start using protection... or just not think about it at all... so i told him, he would be in charge of using anything if he wanted to be protected at all... i would let him know when he needed too... can you beleive that... i understand though, with as much going on, we are broke... BROKE because i lost my job. and my insurance is going to be changing, and we have a big race in August that i really don't want to miss because i have a preggy belly... but i am still kinda bummed..

anyway, i hope everyone is great. i will still be checking in and chatting.... just not charting i guess.

I will come back and do persies later (i got a job at a daycare. in the infant classroom... i can't remember if i told you all that or not...)

hey laura

How's the saw palmetto working for you? Is it clearing up your skin?

I think the saw palmetto is working! Skin is definitely clearer but I find it hard to know exactly what is working as I also started being much stricter with my diet and putting on this spectra gel acne cream before bed every night. Maybe it is the combination of everything. Regardless, I can't complain. Thanks so much for the tip.

Anna - it is great that you feel comfortable with the decision to take a break. The decreased stress may be just what you need to enjoy the summer and start again with a fresh perspective. How is the new job, so far?

Hey ladies,

I've been so crazy busy at work. We have our major cleaning to do of our stores again. My judging is on April 16th. i'm excited but so tired. As for this cycle, well, it's almost over. I should have good ol AF by next tuesday or wednesday.

Beth, I've heard of False Unicorn but don't know anything about it. What is it for?

Laura, soy in some women can restore ovulation. Here's the thing, if you have high estogen it can really screw with you. I took a chance and it seems to make me ovulate, but like clomid it decreases fertile cervical mucous. I'm glad the saw palmetto is working.

Anna, bummer about DH, but it does make sense. how is everything else going for you? Do you like your new job?

Amber, do you have the nursery ready yet?

mere, are you loving being a mom?

Carrie
