Talking New Venus razor is great!

Hi ladies! I bought the new Venus razor and I LOVE it! I swear it's nearly impossible to nick yourself with it! It moves so freely on the skin. It looks pretty too: a pink or blue handle with a white razor. It comes with a thing to hang it on your shower wall so it doesn't get rusty and nasty. For the record, NO, do not work for Venus or have stock in them, I just bought the razor, loved it, and thought I'd pass this info to you all since you guys give me such great tips all the time. I like this razor to shave "downtown"- the way it's shaped just makes it easier. It's a bit pricey- $7 for the razor, and $7 for a refill pack of razors, but I don't mind b/c I really like it.

Laura

PS hmm, after reading what i typed, maybe i should get a job in advertising?!

I used to use the Venus razor on my legs and it did work well. I just can't use a regular razor on my legs anymore because I get such a terrible shaving rash, so I have to use an electric. Thanks for spreading the word though, I'm glad you like it.

I agree! I have never had a problem down there with that razor. I agree, it is def. worth the price.

Hi

I've used the Venus and found it great for legs/ arms. Couldn't get on with it for my face though. Glad it works well for you!

Cool My Frankenstein Razor

Hi Ladies,

I liked the Venus razor (esp. the pretty handle) but the one that works best for me is the Mach 3 Razors--well, guess what? I experimented and the Mach 3 refills fit on the Venus handle. So most of my razor is pretty. Figured I'd pass it on if anyone had any Mach 3 refills left to use up.

Hi

That's what I do, too. Put a Mach 3 head, on my Venus razor. Makes it look more 'feminine'.......... hey, who am I kidding

Question Closest shave? Question for all

Which razor gives the closest / longest lasting shave in your experience? Is it Venus or Mach 3 or something else?

I read a tip for razor shaving the other day...can`t remember where but it said you can use hair conditioner as a shaving gel....just thought I`d pass it on.

Hair conditioner is great! The thicker the better! I far prefer it to shaving creams that dry your skin out -- conditioner leaves skin moisturized!

I usd to use the Venus but got tired of putting out all that money on refills! I've found a new throw away one called Shick extreme 3 You get 8 of them for about 8 dollars at Wally World and I can use them about 4 times and get a good close shave. They are awesome and cheap! My new favorite razor and Ive used them all! Always looking for something cheaper! I used to use the mach 3 and then the venus and decided to try these and they are just as good!

Default purple!!!

I just wanted to share that I have a *purple* Venus razor. Love it. I mean really love it. However, I've found with *longer* hair it doesn't work nearly as well as with the shorter beard hair on my face. I had to chuckle. Anyhoooo.... just wanted to share my 'purple' story and thank you for the idea about the mach3 refils.

I'm considering laser hair removal, (and with how much these razors cost, it will probably equal the same amount of $$ ha!) but for now I am glad the Venus works so well!

*cheers*
