Hi I'm new to the boards. My girlfriend has PCOS. Where do I start?

hi there and welcome to the forum. "bear" here and nice to meet you. an awful lot can be gleaned from reading the various forum topics here at the site. you posted this in the only real "man safe" section of the site. you of course are welcome to post anywhere and are certainly encouraged to do so altho keep in mind that some parts of the site are designed specifically for our women to rant and rave.

is a ton of information available to you by simply reading around the site but do not hesitate to ask questions. if you want another male perspective on something then of course ask it here, if otherwise then go ahead and ask where appropriate. the mrs. and i have met several good folks from here and cant speak highly enough over it.

If you are new to PCOS then I would highly recommend starting with the Newbie Area. There is a ton of information on PCOS, as well as a great list of all the abbreviations we all use on this board. If you have any questions, feel free to ask; and have fun!

Welcome.

Hate to state the obvious, but here it goes. You want to know where to start...best thing I can say is start by saying what you want to know about?

I can't say much as not a big poster here, but tell us a little about yourself and gf and what is going on.

This may be a rant board, but hey we can deal with just about anything.

Let me ask you a few questions and lets see if we can get a few more to jump in.

1. Where you from?
2. Have you heard of PCOS before?
3. What do you want to get out of this?
4. Is your gf on the board as a cyster?
5. Are you having any problems with her and PCOS (ie lack of sex from her, over sexed from her, can or cannot deal with a hairy overweight gf, love her to pieces but mood swings make you two want to tear out eachothers body parts)
6. Know any good jokes or stories that would make all of us see some of the lighter side to all of this?

Again welcome and feel free to ask questions, rant, rave, and heck...if it comes down to it just talk about anything in general and learn about all of us here.
