Newbie Hello, my name is Katrina and I am new to all of this. I was just told I have PCOS and I just found this website. I am 25 and have been married since April 6, 2002. They haven't started me on medication or anything yet, so I don't really know what to expect. Any advice maybe on what to expect would be great. We'd also love to eventually be able to have a child.
Thank you in advance for any and everything

Hi Hi Katrina, I am also new to this site. I found out this past Tuesday that I have PCOS. I am 22. I don't know what to expect either. I have not been put on any long term medications either. I am unsure of what is going to happen. I am going to start my reasearch and see what I find. God Bless You. Norma A.

Welcome to SC! Have you had any blood tests yet? Some cysters have insulin resistance and others have diabetes. I'm on Metformin for insulin resistance.

First off welcome! You might find this site helpful. Did you know there are five different types of PCOS?
