hi everyone,

i was recently dianosed with pcos in december 2005. it was, what i thought at that point, a routine gynae check up - hoping to sort out some irregular menstral patterns, but the ultrascan showed the little dark clusters around both ovaries ... it was really depressing as my hubby and i were hoping to welcome a new addition to our family soon and i learnt that women with pcos had greater difficult conceiving.

my gynae and i did a quick historical check - i had had menstral problems when i was younger, either irregular or extremely heavy flows, i had recently started putting on weight (not much, but some still, considering that i had not put on any for the past couple of years), acne on my face where there was previously none and also quite a bit of bloating. my gynae started me on 50mg of clomid but after my recent check-up, it didn't seem to work and i am now on progyluton and 100mg clomid - hopefully when i go back to see my gynae next month, there will be better news.

Welcome! Are you also on Metformin? A lot of times, Metformin helps us conceive by itself. Other times, it really boosts the effectiveness of Clomid. I hope you get some great news soon!
