Hello everyone! I'm new here, I'm 20 and found out in Dec 2006 that I have PCOS, and in the next two months they are going to up my dosage of Metformin from 500 mg to 1000 mg, and I must say, the medication is a b!tch (sorry for the lanagauge!) I really hate the medication...one minute I'm fine the next I feel sick, headaches, sometimes stomach aches, my periods are way heavier than they used to be...food I used to love taste funny now...I've had about enough of the medication! I GUESS I'll get over it sooner or later...lol...Anyone else out there feeling the same as I am?
welcome to sc i found that met changed what i like to eat , too - some things taste funny! I try to avoid greasy/fatty/sugar food as much as poss. And always eat with the met.

That's not my favorite part, things that I used to love but I eat them only rarely, I find I hate! Like I hate those goldfish crackers, and ice cream sandwiches! Oh, and the new one is mac and cheese! those foods will be missed...lol...
