Hello I was Dx with PCOS on Thursday 7/20/07 I was also told that I had to go on a low card diet do you have any good food ideas and/or tips on some excersize stuff. Currently I have just started on bcp but from what I have been reading that is not always so good any advice? A little more about me I saw a gyn about the age 16 because my periods had stopped and there was no way I was pregnent she didn't make to big of a deal about it so neither did I. Just recently I was watching tv and saw a girl talking about the symptoms of PCOS and it was scary. I had just about every symptom and for the longest time I thought that I was just weird because of the excess hair and other symptoms. Well any advice would be appriciated. Thanks

I was just dx'd myself on the 13th, and it is scary at first, but this board has helped SO much! It's a little less scary now!

I've just cut back on my sugars and breads, pastas and I've been dropping some pounds...I used to do the Atkins thing, but didn't really like it. South Beach is good too, like myturn said.
