Default NEWbie

Hi,
I was diagnosed in December. I had been on the pill for many many years so I believe my symptoms had gone unnoticed. Almost 2 years ago I got off the pill because my husband and I decided we would TTC. After 1 1/2 with no luck, only 2 periods, more weight gain, increase in acne and facial hair. I made an appointment with my gyno. After having an annual exam, biopsy and lots of blood work done. I was diagnosed with PCOS. It was a relief to finally know what was going on but also very frusturating since we are having difficulty TTC.
In Feburary I started taking Provera to help me ovulate and regulate my periods. I had a period in Feb. and then on the medication had a period in March. My gyno. felt the medication was working and I should stop taking the medication. So far this month I have not had a period. With high hopes took a PT and nothing :0( Bumped out and wondering if I,m just not going to be able to ovulate on my own and need furthur medication or even fertility medication or have to continue on the Provera and wait longer to TTC. I,m just not sure. Would appreciate any advice or guidance from anyone else that is TTC and going through this.
Thanks!

Welcome, raz. I'm new here also. We plan to TTC next year, and I just found out 2 days ago that I have PCOS. All of this info is kind of overwhelming right now, but I'm glad that I know. I'm also on Provera since yesterday.
