Hi

My name is Jesse & I am 21 years old. I was diagnosed with PCOS in April 2002. I have been taking 1000mg of Metformin for about 4 months & will be starting my first round of Clomid on my next cycle.

Hi to all

Thank you for your welcome. I'm still currently waiting for AF to arrive this month, I am on CD26 & my last cycle was 45days. I can't wait to start the Clomid as at least I will be in with a chance next month (I haven't been ovulating).

Does anyone have any tips/hints for when taking Clomid? I have heard that if you take the tablet in the evening, it helps reduce the side effects.....

Hi Jess,

What strength are you going to take?
I have been taking my clomid (50mg) of a morning, and I do ok through the day - just a bit of a dull headache... The other side effect I get when I'm going to bed is hot flashes - they aren't too bad though - only last a few minutes....
I was told to make sure I take them at the same time each day, but that it didn't make a difference on whether that was in the night or morning....

Hi,

I will be taking 50mg of Clomid. I think I will have side effects because with the Metformin, I think I had nearly every side effect that you could have I hate my cycles being so long, it seems to take forever until I can start.....
