Hey ladies! I am new to the board but not to PCOS. I found out about it in 1997 when I was 24. Sadly enough it was me and my mom who figured it out. I had irregualr cycles since I was 13 and facial hair to start. In 1997 I had an u/s to check my ovaries and the Dr said she did not find anything, just some tiny cysts on my ovaries thats all....Ummm hello?? My mom thought that was strange so she did some research and we found PCOS. It was me to a T.
I am blessed with 2 children. One my true miracle, my son. No AF for a year but one day I realized I did not have a hang over. I was 10 weeks prego! My SIL had a baby 2 weeks before I conceived so I think that got my ovaries moving or something. LOL I also have a 2 year old girl. We ended up using Follistim injecions to conceive. It was an 18 month process with Clomid/Met, natural trying, m/c, and finally sucess.
Anyhow I am looking forward to meeting some new people to relate to.
