Hi Ladies, this is my first time here. A thank you goes to my husband that found this web site. I have been reading alot about PCOS. Wow I"m finding out I"m not alone.
I was diagnose with PCOS in 1998 but my dr really didn't explain to me what PCOS was. Of course I didn't do my research either. Well since 2003 I saw a new Gynecology. She explained to me what PCOS was. My husband and I had our 3rd child in November of 2004. This is our 3rd child and we are all done. Well I saw my primary care and she sending me to a endorlogist. I saw him last week and he did some blood work. Also I"m schedule to have a thyrod ultro sound done too. He thinks my thyrod out of wack. Well I'm hoping it something because I been struggling with my weight for years. I have been so tired, I feel like I been run down by a truck some days. I have alot of the what you ladies have talked about.
Well I'm looking for some support and advice. Like I said I'm new here and just getting to know about PCOS.
Welcome Jennifer. I haven't been here but a week and I am hooked!! There are lots of knowledgable and friendly ppl on this site. I was just diagnosed on the 15 of this month so I don't have a lot of advice yet. I'm still reading and posting...trying to learn more every day. So, stick around and we will all just learn together.
