hello everyone! My name is Amy and I am 30. I have a 5 year old son. I have had PCOS for 17 years. Lately, it has been unbearable. I am currently on my third week of LoEstrin FE (bc pills). I hate them. I want my doc to do a hysterectomy but he's dragging his heels... Right now, I am on my second period since Oct of 2006. One was for 3 months, and this one has lasted 8 weeks so far, and has not even quit since I've been on bc. UGH! Anywho, nice to meet everyone. I look forward to making lots of new friends!!!

welcome to sc you will sooooo love it here. Hope you feel better soon. Could you see a different dr?? thats what i had to do to get any help, change my g p surgery.

That's an awful long time to have a period. I hope you feel better soon. Maybe another opinion would be helpful?
