After lurking for months and months, I have finally created an account and decided to participate on these fabulous boards.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2001, and was taking Provera to get periods every few months. I've got so, so many symptoms, I feel right at home when I read these boards.
I am pregnant! It was a complete surprise, we were not preventing a pregnancy, but we were not really trying either. I found out on 12/5, and my approximate due date is July 15. I heard the baby's heartbeat on 12/21.
I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone better and taking part in the conversations here, instead of just reading and nodding my head lol
Hi ladies im so excited to meet you ladies here on this site. I am new to all of this too. I am 24 and have not yet been dx but i know that i too have pco and IR. I have all the physical symptoms like hair in the wrong place, unexplained weight gain, and absent periods for no more than 3 months at a time, mood swings, skin discoloration, but most of all a very low sex drive that may be the reason im single lol lol lol, no energy after meals and crave carbs and sweets as if they were going out of style. At first i was afraid but now im great because i've prayed about and left it in the hands of the lord and i know that he will see us all through into parenthood soon. He has never let me down and has always blessed me. I've always known that something was wrong and I've always felt that i have this alternet personality (pco) lol lol
I know that i will become a mommy soon (this yr in 08). I also wanted to say congats to both i mean all you ladies that have gotten prego and who are in the process of becoming prego. BABY DUST and love to us all.
