I'm new to the whole message board,

but I've been diagnosed with PCOS for over a year now. It all started when I wanted Birth Control. After my first pap, my ob/gyn said I had cervical dysplasia... Couple months later I was having extreme pain in my lower abdomen. A million tests later i was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance. I was given Metformin 500mg and told to take it 3 times a day. I HATED it... So i stopped taking it... Meanwhile my weight was steadily climbing... I got diagnosed with fibromyalgia... & I started getting really depressed.
I've decided that I need to get serious about taking care of myself...
I'm here to learn as much as I can... & any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking to learn more about using diet & excercise to curb my PCOS symptoms. I've got about 75 pounds to lose & I'm ready to get started.
