Hi Jen, You've had surgery by now...sorry...just saw your post. As for the physical hunger, that should be gone after a few days it's the mental hunger that is harder to 'tame'. Just keep yourself as busy as you can and focus on getting your water in. Sip sip sip. And, if they didn't tell you in the hospital ask for a 30ml medicine cup and fill it, drink 1/2 and then after a minute finish it. A post op sip is WAY smaller than a pre op sip. Please, feel free to ask specific questions.
As for post op pregnancy I've had 2 post op pregnancies. Both were healthy & delivered term with no complications. I just ate more frequently and adjusted my vitamins per my surgeon & OB. Congratulations on your surgery!!

Is this normal? I mean i have a hard time sleeping through the night and then during the day im sleepy. I don't really sleep during the day but just can't shake off the feeling of being tired.

Hi Jenn, welcome to the losing side.....I had my WLS on 10/28/08. I was also tired for the first couple of weeks out, then I was tired during the day after for about a month. everyones body is different and has to adjust accordingly. Is your infection gone?

not sure if the infection is gone or not yet. Im still taking antibotics and feeling swore around my wounds. What type of wls did you have? Do you ever feel regret of doing the surgery? Do you miss eating at places like wendys, getting hot wings? Cookies cakes anything? If you do what do you do to pass your craving? Will I ever completly be able to eat some of my old fav foods again like hot wings?
