Hi...My name is Lisa & I'm hoping to meet others who have adopted, waiting to adopt, or new to adoption.
A bit of background...DH & I have been married for almost 5yrs. We've been TTC since we've been together with no luck. Found out last month that I have PCOS & we also have a male factor problem as well. We have a 10yr son (my bio son from previous marriage) & we're hoping to adopt a infant baby girl. We've been waiting for 9 months now to be "matched" with an expectant mom. We have come close a few times, but another couple has been chosen.
So...we're still waiting!! Looking forward to sharing my journey with all of you..NICE TO MEET YOU ALL!!

We are looking into adoption as well. But we are not going to look seriously until the new year. Right now (and for the past year) I have been doing tons of research on adoption agencies that are here in Texas, and well, been saving money too...lol!

We are in the process of looking at adoption too. Since we are "older" and have children in our home it puts us out in alot of countries. I would really like to adopt from vietnam or kazistan but the travel is not realistic for us as dh cant be gone for a few weeks. So we are looking at guatemala.
