I'm still finding my way around here but thought I'd introduce myself really quick. My name is Jen. I'm in Indiana. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I had my 2nd child. I had c-sections both times and the second time I was told that I have polycystic ovaries. That meant nothing to me at the time! Three years later, here I am just starting to learn about this. I guess my symptoms could be considered mild. If it weren't for that c-section, I probably wouldn't know to this day that I have PCOS. But the more I read, the more it makes sense!
My symptoms are increased hair growth, high blood pressure, obesity and trouble losing weight, mild depression but that could be contributed to the extra weight (not feeling great about myself) and the weather.
I'm suspicious of insulin resistance but that's something I need to talk to my doctor about.
I'm looking forward to getting to know people around here and getting all the info I can. So far I like what I see!
Jen
