Wow, this is a great site! I am so glad I found it. I just was diagnosed today, although i think i've had symptoms of pcos for years. My husband and i would like to have a child. The doctor prescribed Provera, a two week treatment, which i will start on friday. He wants my hubby to get a SC. I have to go back to do a insulin test, and to recheck my testosterone levels...i guess they are off the chart. I new these hairs on my face were not normal!!! Furious at previous doctors who brushed me off! Glad i have a diagnosis and can have a plan of action now.
Anyway, i will be cruisin this site for awhile!
Hiya, i'm new to the site too, have been reading posts for a while but just joined. These forums have been so helpful in understanding pcos. Was diagnosed in jan this year when i stopped taking the pill because we decided to start trying to concieve. Finally explained the acne though!
I start provera on Wednesday, but all my levels are fine. Let me know how you are doing on your provera treatment when you start!

I am ready for the worst, but I am only on 10 days. My Dr wants me to journal while I am taking it, and I have no labs sched when I am finished, just an appt.
