I just discovered this forum recently and am finding a lot of helpful information already! I have had PCOS for a very long time but was diagnosed this year. It has been a little over a year since I was Dx with Diabetes. My PCP started me on Actos. I have been taking meds for high bp, high cholesterol, a partial thyroidectomy, and depression.
I found a endo that has been helping me. One of my main goals was to stop taking Actos and manage with diet and exercise. I stopped taking Actos in October.
The last few months have been very hard for me to stay on track with my diet and exercise. I noticed the difference in my glucose levels and PCOS symtoms and decided to start meds again. I have been taking Met for a few days now and have my fingers crossed that I do not have any major side effects.

Welcome! I'm new here too, but loving it already! Good luck with the Met. I was so afraid to start it because of the side effects, but only suffered for 2-3 days. So far so good! I wish you the best of luck.

Just wanted to say hello and welcome. I am also struggling to stay on track with diet and exercise. There are threads here for metformin and diet/exercise. Good luck.
