It's easy...just leave a post and you'll start to receive reputation or "karma" points and friendly messages from other cysters. Every post you make gives you 5 points in addition to the karma points and reputation you will receive when others click on your profile...WaHoo!
As your reputation and points build, you'll be able buy gifts and ribbons for yourself or other cysters, add some effects to your profile, or play the lottery...all the fun stuff! To return the favor....just click on the gray scale in the lower left hand corner of a cyster's post (the middle of 3 icons) and send a friendly message. Giving karma is free and adds to that cyster's reputation (the little green bars in the profiles).
Remember that you can only give Karma to a particular post once, so every time you come back, you’ll need to pick new posts…....and don't forget to leave a new post yourself so we can return the favor! The amount of points or "Karma" you can give out in a 24 hour period grows with your reputation....so stop by often. If you come back & get the message, "You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to .......again," then it's time to go spread some Karma to new cysters on this thread or around the board. Once you've given Karma to some new cysters, you'll be able "karmalize" the cysters here some more!

Hi all. Sorry I've been MIA. Had a terrible month. Husband got fired, I got laid off. Husband had weakness in his right hand and can't control the last three fingers of his right hand and we discovered the problem was in his brain. Last week we ruled out brain tumors, ALS, stroke, and cancer. He has two spots of either inflammation or scaring in his brain. It looks like MS but it isn't manifesting like MS, so it may just be a freak thing. Anyway, he needs to get a spinal tap to see if he has antibodies that come with MS in his spinal fluid. Problem is no job, no health insurance, no money.
Anyway we are diligently looking for work and something has to turn up sometime. Keep your fingers crossed for us. Will spred all my karma!
