 Newbie looking for Hudson Valley, NY dr.
I was just diagnosed with PCOS yesterday, and the OB/GYN didn't really explain what it was to me. He just said "It appears that you have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. We can either put you on BC or fertility drugs to bring on your period and deal with it from there." I had to find the facts online so that I knew what I was dealing with. He's a really nice doctor, but I want someone who will explain things to me - I'm new to this! From what I read on these boards so far, it looks like I will be going to an RE...
