Hi! Welcome to SC. I recommend poking around the threads, doing some research at your local library, and looking PCOS up on the net.
Good luck with everything.

Hi Yanny. Welcome to SC. I definitely agree that you should do as much research as you can online and at the library. There are also some great reserach articals Kat put up on S/C in the Research Forum. You can also learn a lot just by listening to the many women on these boards. Good luck to you!!

Yep, you've come to the right place. There is a ton of helpful information on here. I felt lost when I was dx too, but on here you'll find some answers and ALOT of support!

Welcome!

Hi Yanni,

Welcome! Nice to meet you. I was just diagnosed 3 weeks ago. I still do not understand what I am going through. I bought a bunch of books on Amazon.com that I should be getting tomorrow (hopefully). I am may not be very helpful, but I want you to feel welcome. Keep every appointment with your doctor. Lower you sugar intake and lower you carb intake. I am not very good at it, but eating better thank I did before I was diagnosed.

Keep me posted.

Hugs!
