Hi ya i'm 22 years old and had an ultrasound scan that the radiographer said showed polycystic ovaries. Me and my partner who are getting married in july this year (yay!) have been TTC since june last year. I came of the pill in june and got pregnant later that month however i miscarried at seven weeks. Since then my periods have been irregular ranging from 28 days to 41. However now i am on CD 58 with no signs of period , I had light brown spotting three weeks ago and assumed it was my period starting but since then nothing. I chart my temps on fertility friend which keeps switching my ovulation day from cd14 to 24 and back again. I have taken two pregnancy tests both came back negative so i dunno what to do next. I'm asking for any advice or has anyone gone through this? I have been quite tired, hungry , bloated and have sore boobs but i'm guessing this is from my lack of period rather than pregnancy. However i also have had several bouts of indigestion and have a higher sense of smell. I am not on any medications at present waiting to see consultant in september.
I came off the pill in June last year as it was making me put weight on-I'm not ttc at the moment- hopefully next year.
I was getting my period every 6-8 weeks when i came off it and then went to every 4-6 weeks untill the start of this year when didnt come on after 10 weeks.
I had the same symptoms as you, nausea, bloating etc. I did 3 hpt which all came back negative so went to my GP who did another pregnancy test- negative so did blood work which came back with LH/FSH as 3:1.
If you are worried you should visit your Dr and ask for some blood test to make sure you are not having at eptopic pregnancy and to show if you are ovulating.

Welcome to SC. I am currently undergoing the same issue. I am 21 days late and i spotted 2 days ago and on may 11th. I havent taken a HPT yet. (tomarrow) I would give a call to your doctor and see if they can get you in for a blood test, or other answers. I hope you feel better , Baby and sticky dust to you ::

Thank you for letting me know i aint the only one going through this. I am now on cd 65 and therefore over a month late from my normal cycles. My chart on fertility friend now states i ovulated on cd 54 which means i am now 10dpo i am currently experiencing brown spotting so hoping this is all coming to an end now, if however this spotting doesnt become af i will definately make doctors appointment, its just since i have been referred to the hospital he doesnt really wanna know about my cycles. Are u gonna make a doc's appointment? Keep me posted if u take HPT. Are you ttc? .

Im trying to get use to the website and everything, so much information I feel kind of overwhelmed! haha. But its great!!
So I was diagnosed with PCOS last month when I went to the dr as I was havnig trouble TTC. I was put on Metformin to regulate my periods as I wouldnt get one at all. The metformin is working I got my period for full 7 days the first month of taking it. However im confused as to when I should ovulate. People told me 14 days after beginning of period and my dr said 14 days after ending. Well 14 days after start would of been the 23rd of May. I didnt ovulate (I use the test strips daily). So the 30th of May will be 14 days after. Does anyone have any advice for me or what to look for? I also heard the test strips may not work with people with PCOS! thanks!

Sorry I havent been on to update, I recieved AF yesterday May 31st . I did take an HPT a few days ago and of course it was a BFN!! Me and DBF are not TTC, but we arent preventing . I actually scheduled an appt. with a specialist RE who deals with PCOS and endo. How have you been Rolrol?? Did Af show,?? Good luck to you and let me know how everything went . Baby dust!!
